I've been looking on ebay for a copy of both Professor Layton and the Curious Village and Professor Layton and Pandora's Box but they all say not for dsi on ds and ds lite, why wont it work for the dsi. thanks in advanceHow come Professor Layton?
The Professor Layton games are known to work on the DSi
eBay is not the best place to obtain "second hand" copies of this game as many (perhaps even most) of these games sold on eBay are actually inferior pirated copies of the game
These illegal copies are known to have a variety of problems (most commonly blacking out and stopping due to corrupted video files) including usually not working on the DSi
Over the past couple of years, almost everyone that has had a problem with these games (unable to play on the DSi, unable to get past the intro, unable to save, etc) has obtained their copy from eBay
If the eBay offer specifically states that it will not run on the DSi, then you should certainly steer clear of it
These games are still available from legitimate sources such as, say, Amazon (where you can get a refund if there's a problem)
Let the eBay buyer beware
