How to solve a Professor Layton Puzzle?

I'm stuck on puzzle 51 (Parking the Car) in Professor Layton %26amp; the Unwound Future Nintendo DS game.I have tried the hints but they don't seem to work. I've been working on this puzzle for the last few months and nothing I do is right. I've started to wonder if my game is defective.
