Professor Layton Game Turning Screen Black?

I was moving on to my next puzzle in Professor Layton and the Curious Village I has just recieved from buying it on ebay, when in the middle of a screen change, the scene goes black on both screens. The music still plays, but nothing happens. What can I do?|||contact the seller of the item and try to get it sorted out. if they don't send you a new one, you can get a refund if you paid with paypal, leave negative feedback and you're done
